Sex and the City 2 is an American romantic comedy, about four female friends: Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker), Samantha Jones (Kim Cattrall), Charlotte York Goldenblatt (Kristin Davis), and Miranda Hobbes (Cynthia Nixon).

 The series often described about romance and sexuality in their world specially in New York.

It also features by Chris Noth  as John James "Mr. Big" Preston, Jennifer Hudson as Louise, David Eigenberg as Steve Brady, Jason Lewis as Smith Jerrod, Miley Cyrus, Tim Gunn and Penelope Cruz. 

Two years after the first film, Sex and the City , the film began with  Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker), Samantha Jones (Kim Cattrall), Charlotte York Goldenblatt (Kristin Davis), and Miranda Hobbes (Cynthia Nixon) were meeting up with each other which turned into a flashback to how Carrie first met Samantha, Charlotte and Miranda in 1986 in New York City.

The four friends had lived were more stressful than before. They were married except Samantha, who was 52 at the time and trying to keep her libido alive with hormones  while dealing with menopause. Miranda quit her job after the new managing partner disrespects her once too often. Charlotte had two children (Lily and Rose) were a handful. She was worried that Harry was attracted to their buxom Irish nanny, Erin (Alice Eve).

Meanwhile, Samantha had been approached by an Arab sheikh to devise a PR campaign for his business. He offered to fly with her friends on an all expenses paid luxury vacation to Abu Dhabi.

In short , when they got Abu Dhabi, they spent their precious time by walking around in Abu Dhabi, shopping, swimming, refreshing, etc. But, there was something happened. When Carrie walked around in traditional market, then she met her ex lover, Alidan (John Corbett) ,  then they talked and shared everything.

Aidan proposed to take dinner à deux at his hotel with Carrie and Carrie accepted  Aidan’s offering for dinner. Before Carrie went out, Charlotte warned her, “don’t you ever try to play with “fire”. Because she thought that, Carrie might do something wrong with her former.  The dinner was very enjoyable, by discussing the old times. After long discussion and they were getting tired, Carrie decided to get back to her hotel, but suddenly they kissed for a second. Then Carrie run away in a shocked, panic and nerve.

Finally, when Carrie got back to her hotel, she decided to tell her husband, John, she tried to be honest by calling him through the phone. Actually, having a secret in a relationship will make it so worst. Finally, she told everything about that unpredictable accident to her husband, and suddenly he ended the phone up with a flat response.

 After that, the four females must have left the hotel because they didn’t know that free-services were out of date. They should have paid the bills or in an hour they must have gone. So, after their shocking-packing, they reached taxies, but Carrie remembered something. Her wallet lost. She tried to remember where the wallet was, but actually they had to rush, because they had bought the ticket for getting New York. Eventually, Carrie remembered, her wallet was left in traditional market while she was shopping. and she was back to the traditional market then he found her wallet in the shoes-store.

After they arrived at New York, they back to their own family happily, but not for Carrie. She had to ready for getting mad from her husband. So, when she got her apartment, she found nothing. She searched for her husband, but he was nowhere.

Suddenly, the door knocked, and that was John. When John entered the room, Carrie started talking about the last accident. While Carrie was talking, John asked her to be silent. He just answered while his index finger is putting on her lips  “We have already promised as a spouse for living everlasting. I don’t want to lose you because this case, because the most important thing is Love. I love you. And you love me.” After John said like that, he gave her a diamond ring, and asked her to repeat his shout, “I promise, I will never kiss another man except my husband”. J

The opinion:

The first time I watched this movie when I was in senior high school, and I actually like this movie, because this movie has a biggest message.  I think this is the unique film. Due to Comedy with romantic scene but unfortunately it has a little vulgar.If I had a chance to critic I would say that “vulgar” scene is not really good. Why? Because this film was taken in Middle East, where there are mostly Moslem people who have attention for dressing. It might be very bother and satire for Moslem people who live over there.

My favorite scene is:
When Carrie's husband knew that his wife kissed with her ex boy friend, he was getting so mad but he thought that he was a mature man who had sworn to live forever with his wife in joy and sorrow.
That is my precious lesson that I should remember the meaning of biggest loyalty and forgiveness. This movie deserves to show because it’s very perfect for giving motivation in making relationship.
